6. Mahindra Stinger
This is one of the most unusual looking SUVs at Auto Expo 2018. Based on the TUV300’s ladder frame chassis, the Mahindra Stinger is a convertible SUV concept. The company claims that the design of the convertible SUV will be seen on the future Mahindra SUVs and is claimed to be the most expressive design yet by the UV specialist.
This has been an interesting concept as it is quite a challenge for a brand to develop a sub-4 meter convertible car on a ladder frame chassis.
Some of the design highlights include flared wheel arches, projector headlamps with LED DRLs, fog lamps with LED inserts, LED tail-lights, leather seats, large touchscreen display, large display for instrumentation and multi-functional steering wheel. Powering the SUV is an upgraded version of the existing 1.5-litre mHawk diesel engine that produces close to 140bhp.
