Here is the list of new SUVs showcased at 2018 Delhi Auto Expo.

At the 14th edition of Asia’s biggest automotive event, Delhi Auto Expo 2018, has witnessed unveilings and launch of range of new cars and concepts. But, SUVs are the major attraction at the auto event as the renowned automakers have showcased their new SUVs to grab visitors’ attention. Starting from Tata H5X to Mahindra XUV700, the 2018 Delhi Edition is all about SUVs. Here we bring you a list of top SUVs at Auto Expo 2018.

1. Tata H5X

The most exciting product in the list of new SUVs at Auto Expo 2018 is the Tata Motors’ new premium SUV concept – H5X. This model is set to join the company’s line-up by the end of this year. It will be the first Tata product to feature the company’s latest IMPACT Design 2.0 design language.

The Tata H5X concept features a squat stance and huge wheel arches fitted to massive 22-inch wheels. Upfront is a slim high-set LED headlights and a more prominent Tata’s trademark ‘humanity line’ that connects the grille and headlights. The massive front bumper gets silver-coloured fauxed skid plate and new fog lamp enclosure, which Tata claimed to have a ‘tri-arrow pattern’. There are lot of creases and curves all around the car, while the chunky cladding at the base of the doors gives it a sporty touch.

The vehicle comes with sloping roofline that looks quite sporty in nature, and has a narrower glass house from the C-pillar which merges with the rear windscreen. The rear profile gets wraparound tail-lights and large bumper. The Tata H5X comes with a clean and clutter-free design and the material quality used is top-notch. The SUV gets a digital console and a touchscreen infotainment system with several connectivity options.

Built on the Land Rover’s L550 platform, the SUV will come with two seating layouts – 5 and 7. It will be powered by a 2.0-litre Multijet II diesel engine that also powers the Jeep Compass. This engine will be tuned to offer two power outputs – 140bhp (5-seater model) and 170bhp (7-seater model). Both manual and automatic versions of the SUV will be on offer.
