Sportier & More Powerful Mahindra XUV300 Variant Spotted

Mahindra & Mahindra showcased the sportier and more powerful version of the XUV300 subcompact SUV at the 2020 Auto Expo. Called the Mahindra XUV300 Sportz, the model was slated to launch in April, 2020. Though, it has been delayed due to the nationwide lockdown. Now, the company has resumed testing the vehicle in the outskirts of Bangaluru.

The XUV300 Sportz will be one of the first Mahindra models to feature the mStallion turbocharged petrol engine. The new gasoline motor made its debut at this year’s Auto Expo. The sportier version of the compact SUV will be packed with a 1.2L petrol unit returning a claimed power of 130bhp against 230Nm of torque. With such impressive power figures, it will become the most powerful petrol car in its category.
