First unveiled at the 2013 Ukrainian auto show; the Renault Lodgy MPV is likely to go on sale next year. The company will make some subtle changes to the front and rear profile of the MPV, especially to the shape of its front grille. Additional chrome inserts are also likely to add this model.

The production of the Renault Lodgy MPV is likely to start at the company’s manufacturing unit in Chennai. This MPV is slightly bigger in size as compared to Maruti Ertiga and Honda Mobilio, which could give it a competitive edge in terms of spaciousness.

The 7-Seater Lodgy is likely to be priced in the range of Rs. 7-9 lakh. It will share its mechanics with the Duster SUV- a 1.5-litre diesel engine producing two states of tune- 85PS and 105PS, and a 1.6-litre petrol. All the engines will be paired to a five-speed manual gearbox, while the 105PS model will be mated to a six-speed manual transmission.
