Czech automaker has recently revealed the first official sketch of the next generation Skoda Fabia which is scheduled to make its official debut at the 2014 Paris Motor Show in October. The production ready fully uncovered new Fabia has been spied during its test rounds on the roads of Czech Republic.
The new generation Skoda Fabia gets the familiar corporate look with wide front grille flanked by narrow headlamps. It resembles the bigger Skoda’s like Rapid and Octavia. The vehicle gets shorter C-pillar which adds a sporty character and the greenhouse area is also different from the current model.

The upcoming Fabia features a sportier roof-mounted spoiler, while the taillights assembling looks identical to the one found on Rapid sedan. Based on the updated PQ25 platform, the new Fabia will be joined by Wagon version on later stage. The new generation model measures 4m in length; however, it is now 9cm wider and 3cm lower than the outgoing car.
The new generation Skoda Fabia will share its engine configuration with the 2014 Polo facelift. This means that the vehicle will get the new 1.5-litre diesel engine that produces two states of tunes- 90PS and 109PS. The other engines would be the 1.2-litre 3-pot mill and 1.2-litre turbocharged petrol.
