The 150cc bike segment is getting popular among buyers, and bike makers are aiming to launch their capable yet affordable products in this segment. Keeping this in mind, Honda two wheelers India is now gearing up to launch the all-new CB Unicorn 160. Ahead of its official launch in early next year, the motorcycle has been spotted at a training workshop.
The pictures suggest that the Honda CB Unicorn 160 gets Honda’s conventional design, which is surprising. The bike shares most of its styling cues with the Trigger, except for the few new additions. Its front largely resembles the Trigger’s and the instrument cluster is also directly lifted from its sibling. However, the vehicle is equipped with new features like tank shrouds, side panels and tank. Also visible is the all-black theme for the engine and other parts on the CB Unicorn 160. The fully covered chains, new tail lamp with LEDs are also on offer.
According to Overdrive, the company is likely to add a bumped up version of the present 150cc engine. This engine is expected to develop 14.5PS of power, and is paired to a five-speed transmission. The vehicle would get front Disc and rear drum type braking system.
It is expected to go on sale in January, 2015, while the bookings are expected to commence soon.
