Skoda Vision RS Concept will have its world premiere at the 2018 Paris Motor Show in October.

Skoda Auto has dropped yet another teaser of the performance-oriented Vision RS concept that will debut at the 2018 Paris Motor Show. The automobile event is scheduled to happen from 4th to 14th October. Interior of the Skoda Vision RS has sporty appeal, thanks to its crystal glass, floating seats with vegan Alcantara covers, unique light effects and Lasvit crystal. The instrument panel has carbon elements and special RS design moniker with lighting effects interacting with the infotainment system touchscreen.

To be designed in Skoda’s Prague design studio, the Skoda Vision RS previews the company’s future compact cars’ design language. It also shows the company’s Vision RS motorsport cars design. The upcoming Skoda Vision RS shares its platform with the new-generation Volkswagen Polo hatchback – i.e. MAB A0 platform. This architecture will aid to its overall handling and driving dynamics. The sportier Vision RS is already under development at Skoda Auto Technical Development Centre in Mlada Boleslav, Czech Republic.

The Skoda Vision RS concept looks very aerodynamic, thanks to its slim headlamps, bold side creases, roof spoiler and diffuser at the rear. In terms of dimensions, the concept measures 4356mm in length, 1810mm in width and 1431mm in height. It sits on a wheelbase of 2650mm. The Czech Republic carmaker unveiled the Skoda Vision X SUV concept at the 2018 Geneva Motor Show. Based on the MQB platform, the SUV concept features a CNG hybrid powertrain with a 1.5L, 4-cylinder turbocharged engine, two electric motors and a belt driven starter generator. It makes power worth 127 against 249Nm of torque. The Vision X concept based SUV, which will be positioned below the Karoq, will also make its way to India sometime next year.
