Skoda SUV (Seltos Rival) New Rendering: Split Headlamps, Aggressive Design

Skoda will unveil the production version of the Vision IN mid-sized SUV in January 2021. The SUV is scheduled to be launched in the second quarter of 2021 (April-June). The SUV has already been caught testing on the roads, and the spy images reveal that the production version SUV will look largely identical to the concept.

A new rendering from Digital Artist, Klebar Silva shows the possible design of the production version of the Vision IN. The rendering looks identical to the concept; however, there are subtle design changes to keep things fresh. The production model has retained the split headlamp setup; however, the design of the unit has been changed. While the LED DRLs are placed next to the grille, the main headlamp unit is positioned slightly lower on the bumper. There are faux air-vents on the bumper, which gives it a sporty look. It has dual-tone lower bumper with silver skid plates and honeycomb mesh pattern for air-dam.

The rendering has production-ready diamond-cut alloys. While the concept had 19-inch wheels, the production-model will have 17-inch alloys. The SUV gets usable roof rails, and differently-styled LED tail-lights. It retains the dual-tone bumper design with silver faux skid plate.

Rumoured to be called the Skoda Kosmiq, the new mid-sized SUV will take on the likes of Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos and Nissan Kicks. It will be the first model to be based on the locally-developed MQB AO-IN platform. In terms of proportions, the new Vision IN is 4,256mm in length, 1,589mm in height and has a wheelbase of 2,671mm.
