Skoda Superb Sportline Launched; Prices Start At Rs 28.99 Lakh

The Skoda Superb Sportline is priced at Rs 28.99 lakh (petrol) and Rs 31.49 lakh (diesel).

Skoda Auto has introduced a new variant of its flagship luxury sedan – the Superb. Called the Skoda Superb Sportline, the new trim is essentially a sportier version of the sedan with sharper styling and Red shade with black treatment. On the exterior, the Skoda Superb Sportline features a grille with gloss black finish, headlamps and fog lamps with blacked out elements and pronounced bonnet. The Skoda Superb Sportline also gets blacked out wing mirrors, side skirts, lip spoiler and a black roof. The new variant comes with the larger 19-inch alloy wheels with black-and-grey finish.

Interior of the India-spec Skoda Superb Sportline shares resemblance with the model currently on sale in the European market. That means, the new Superb variant gets an all-black treatment inside the cabin with contrasting red stitching and new sporty seats with Alcantara inserts. The dashboard has faux carbon-fibre trim. For safety provision, the Skoda Superb Sportline gets six airbags, hill-hold control, ABS with EBD and ESC and hill brake assist. Engine setup of the Skoda Superb Sportline includes a 1.8-litre, four-cylinder TSI and a 2.0-litre, four-cylinder TDI engine, carried over from the regular model. The gasoline with a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox delivers 180bhp with 250Nm. The oil burner with a 6-speed dual-clutch transmission pushes out a maximum power of 177bhp and 350Nm of torque. Globally, the Skoda Superb Sportline is offered with a 2.0L TSI petrol engine that’s good for 226.8bhp and 350Nm of torque.
