Skoda Slavia New Price List June 2022 – Expensive By Up To Rs 60,000

Czech automaker, Skoda has increased the prices of its newly launched mid-sized sedan, the Slavia. The new Skoda Slavia is now expensive by up to Rs 60,000 depending on variant. It was first introduced in February 2022 at an introductory price tag of Rs 10.69 lakh to Rs 17.79 lakh.

The new Skoda Slavia is now available at a starting price of Rs 10.99 lakh for the base 1.0 TSI MT Active variant. The range-topping 11.5 TSI DCT Style variant is now priced at Rs 18.39 lakh (ex-showroom). The sedan is offered in 3 trim levels – Active, Ambition & Style. The Active & Ambition variants are now pricier by Rs 30,000, while the Style 1.0L version gets expensive by Rs 40,000. The top-spec Style 1.5L MT & AT variants are pricier by Rs 60,000.

Not just price hike, Skoda has also updated features of the new Slavia. Due to the ongoing chip shortage, Skoda has replaced the 10-inch infotainment screen on the Slavia. The sedan is now equipped with an 8.0-inch screen. It also misses out on wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. For people not in the know, Skoda had also raised the prices of the Kushaq SUV by up to Rs 70,000.

The Slavia is available with two engine options – a 1.0-litre 3-cylinder TSI petrol and a 1.5-litre 4-cylinder TSI. While the former is good for 115bhp and 175Nm, the later produces 150bhp and 250Nm of torque. Transmission choices include a 6-speed manual, a 6-speed torque convertor automatic with 1.0L & a 7-speed DSG automatic with 1.5L.
