Skoda Kodiaq RS Challenge, the limited edition of the 7-seater SUV, was recently revealed by the Czech carmaker. Based on the Kodiaq RS, the new special edition comes with the brand’s most powerful diesel engine and a pack of additional features. The motor returns a claimed power of 240bhp against a maximum torque of 500Nm. The limited edition comes with AWD (all-wheel-drive) system. It’s capable of do 0 to 100kmph in just 6.9 seconds, while maintaining a top speed of 221kmph. The SUV’s limited edition promises fuel economy of 16.21kmpl.

Compared to the Skoda Kodiaq RS, the new limited edition offers some extra features under Assisted Ride 2.0 package. The package includes a 9.2-inch Columbus touchscreen infotainment system with latest smartphone connectivity, heated steering wheel and a digital instrument cluster with RS graphics. On the safety front, the SUV offers 9 airbags, lane maintenance assistant, lane change assistant, parking assistant, traffic sign recognition, emergency assistant and traffic jam assistant. Features such as all-round camera, 3 zone climate control, electronic front seats and a fifth door servo are also on offer.

Skoda Kodiaq RS Challenge Interior

Only 300 units of the Skoda Kodiaq RS Challenge will sold by the carmaker. The limited edition has been priced at CZK 13,99,900, which is round Rs 42.43 lakh. As of now, there is no official word about its India launch.
