Shah Rukh Khan Takes Delivery of 2020 Hyundai Creta
Shah Rukh Khan took delivery of the all-new Hyundai Creta in Mumbai. Tarun Garg, Director of Sales, Hyundai India, handed over the key of the SUV to the King of Bollywood making him the first owner of the 2020 Hyundai Creta.
The delivered model was the turbo petrol DSG automatic variant painted in black colour. The lineup includes two turbo-petrol models – SX and SX (O) – priced at Rs 16.16 lakh and Rs 17.20 lakh (ex-showroom).
The 2020 Hyundai Creta 1.5L petrol variants are priced from Rs 9.99 lakh to Rs 16.15 lakh. The diesel models, on the other hand, are available in the price range of Rs 9.99 lakh to Rs 17.20 lakh. All prices are introductory and ex-showroom. The SUV’s new-generation model has already received over 14,000 bookings so far.
Engine setup of the new 2020 Hyundai Creta includes a 1.5L U2 CRDi diesel, a 1.5L naturally-aspirated petrol and a 1.4L GDi turbo petrol unit. While the oil burner makes a top power of 113bhp against 250Nm of torque, the 1.5L gasoline motor pushes out a peak power of 113bhp and a maximum torque of 114Nm. The 1.4L GDi turbo petrol engine is good enough for 138bhp and 242Nm of torque.
A 6-speed manual gearbox is standard on the 1.5L diesel and petrol variants. The 1.5L petrol model can also be had with a 6-speed iVT automatic gearbox, and 1.5L diesel version is also availabl ewiht a 6-speed automatic torque converter transmission. A 7-speed DCT (dual-clutch transmission) gearbox is offered only on the turbo-petrol variants.
Some of its key features include an 8-speaker Bose sound system, Hyundai’s BlueLink connected car technology offering over 50 connectivity features, a 7-inch TFT display instrument cluster, a 360 degree camera with buttons integrated on the centre console, a flat bottom, leather wrapped steering with mounted controls and more.
