Royal Enfield To Soon Launch Two New Bikes In India

Royal Enfield is preparing to multiple new motorcycles for the Indian market. The company has showcased the new Super Meteor 650 at the ongoing Rider Mania 2022 in Goa. In fact, bookings for the new motorcycle have also been started for the Rider Mania participants. Not just Super Meteor 650, RE is also readying the next gen Bullet 350. These two motorcycles will be launched in our market in the first half of 2023.

Royal Enfield has officially stated that the new Super Meteor 650 will go on sale in the country in January 2023. The new motorcycle will be offered in two variants – Standard and Tourer. Set to be the most expensive Royal Enfield, the new Super Meteor 650 is expected to be priced around Rs 3.5 lakh to Rs 4 lakh

The Super Meteor 650 is powered by a 648cc, air and oil-cooled parallel twin engine that is capable of producing 47bhp at 7,250rpm and 52Nm at 5,650rpm. The company has claimed that the new 650cc cruiser’s 80% peak torque arrives at 2,500rpm. The motorcycle is equipped with Showa 43mm USD fork suspension. For braking, the bike gets 320mm front disc and 300mm rear disc along with a dual-channel ABS system. The new Royal Enfield 605cc bike comes with 19-inch front and 16-inch rear alloy wheels shod with CEAT Zoom Cruz tyres.

The next-gen RE Bullet 350 has been spotted testing numerous times on the Indian roads. In fact, the production-ready model without any camouflage has also been spotted. The new model will receive major changes in terms of underpinning, engine and features. It will be based on Royal Enfield’s new “J” platform that underpins the Meteor 350 and the Classic 350. The new motorcycle will be powered by a 346cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine paired to a 5-speed gearbox. This engine is capable of producing 20.2bhp and 27Nm of torque.

The motorcycle is expected to be launched in the second quarter of 2023, around April to June. It will come with conventional telescopic front forks and twin shock absorbers at the rear. For braking, the bike will have front and rear disc and drum brakes respectively. It will also be equipped with the single channel ABS.
