Royal Enfield To Launch Hunter 350 By Mid-2022; Exhaust Sound

Royal Enfield has already announced to launch a new motorcycle in every 3 months for next 2-3 years. The company will launch the much-awaited Scram 411 Scrambler in the country on March 15, 2022. After Scram 411, Royal Enfield will launch the retro classic roadster – called the Royal Enfield Hunter 350 by mid-2022.

The new Royal Enfield Hunter 350 has been spotted multiple times on the Indian roads. In fact, the motorcycle has recently caught wearing the production body parts. It will be based on the brand’s new ‘J’ platform that underpins the RE Meteor 350 and the new Classic 350. The new platform is claimed to provide improved straight line and cornering stability without compromising on comfort.

The latest spy video of the motorcycle shows the rear section and the exhaust note. The upcoming Royal Enfield Hunter 350 sounds significantly different from the Classic 350 and the Meteor 350. It sounds sportier, which suggests that the engine character could also be different from its Meteor’s or Classic. The motorcycle had a round tail-light flanked by circular turn indicators.

In terms of styling, the new Royal Enfield Hunter 350 has a single-piece seat, relaxed ergonomics, retro-styled circular headlamps, disc brakes, alloy wheels and grab handles for the rear passengers. The motorcycle will also receive tripper navigation display, which we have already seen on the latest RE bikes.

The new Royal Enfield Hunter 350 is powered by the same 349cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine with OHC layout, which we have already seen on the Meteor. This engine churns out a maximum power output of 20.2bhp and a peak torque of 27Nm. Power will be transmitted to the rear wheel via a 6-speed gearbox. The motorcycle is likely to get 370mm front disc and 270mm rear disc along with a dual-channel ABS system as standard. It will get telescopic front forks and twin shock absorbers at the rear.
