RE Scram 411 is essentially a stripped-back version of Himalayan with lower set headlamps and handlebar and a new single-piece seat. Its tail section looks slightly different and has a smaller grab handle and different indicator and number plate. Its instrument console has been borrowed from the RE Meteor 350, though it has different colour treatment. Unlike the Himalayan, the Royal Enfield Scram 411 misses out on a tachometer and has smaller 19-inch front wheels. Its front suspension has 10mm less travel.

Royal Enfield Scram 411 Design Review

Powering the Royal Enfield Scram 411 is the same engine that does duty in the Himalayan. The bike derives power from a 411cc motor that’s good enough for 24.3hp at 6,500rpm and 32Nm at 4,250rpm.

Royal Enfield’s Upcoming Products

The Chennai-based bikemaker has been working on multiple new products including three new 650cc bikes, RE Himalayan 450 and new-generation RE Bullet 350. Talking about the Royal Enfield Himalayan 450, the motorcycle will feature a new 450cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine delivering 40bhp and 45Nm. The motor will be paired to a 6-speed gearbox. The bike will come with three riding modes and Ride-by-Wire system.

The new-gen Royal Enfield Bullet 350 will underpin a new J-series platform that’s claimed to deliver refined performance and power delivery with less vibrations. The bike will witness significant design changes and its engine will be borrowed from the RE Meteor 350. Its launch is likely to happen in the first half of 2023.
