Royal Enfield Hunter 350 Reaches Dealerships – Expected Price & Details

Royal Enfield Hunter 350 is all set to hit Indian roads on 7th August, 2022. Ahead of its market arrival, the company has started dispatching the bike across its dealerships in the country. While its official details and specifications are yet to be revealed, its homologation document confirms that the bike will share its engine with the Meteor 350. That means, the Hunter will derive its power from the 349cc, single-cylinder engine making 20bhp.

The overall length, width and height of the new Royal Enfield bike will stand at 2055mm, 800mm and 1055mm respectively. This makes it smaller and shorter than the Meteor. The bike sits on a 1370mm long wheelbase and has a gross weight of 360kg. The new Royal Enfield Hunter 350 will be built on the brand’s J-series platform that underpins the RE Meteor. For performing braking duties, the bike will have disc brakes at the front and rear axles. There will also be dual-channel ABS. It will come with the conventional telescopic forks upfront and dual rear shock absorbers.

Design elements such as round headlamp and rear view mirrors give it a retro appeal. Compared to Meteor, the RE Hunter 350 will have smaller and shorter swing arm, a differently designed fuel tank and a single piece seat. Some of its other key highlights will include slightly raised handlebar, multi-spoke alloy wheels, fork gaiters, centrally placed footpegs, mudguards, short and thick exhaust and taillamps. The upcoming Royal Enfield Hunter 350 is reported to be the most affordable bike from the Chennai-based two-wheeler in India. Therefore, it’s likely to miss out on the Tripper navigation system that’s offered on the premium RE bikes. The bike will have a semi-digital instrument cluster. Similar to the Meteor, the new RE Hunter 350 will be made available with multiple accessories such as a backrest, a plastic side box and a fly screen.

As mentioned above, the Hunter will be the cheapest offering from Royal Enfield in India. Its prices are estimated to start from Rs 1.5 lakh and go up to Rs 1.7 lakh (ex-showroom).
