Royal Enfield Classic 350 S – New Affordable Motorcycle Launched

RE Classic 350 S

Royal Enfield had launched affordable variants of the Bullet 350 and the 350 ES in August 2019. The affordable bikes come with blacked-out scheme and miss out on chrome embellishments and other features. The company has now introduced a more affordable iteration of the Classic 350. Called the Royal Enfield Classic 350, the new motorcycle is equipped with a single-channel ABS instead of the dual-channel ABS system in the regular model.

The Royal Enfield Classic 350 S is priced at Rs 1.45 lakh, which is around Rs 9,000 cheaper than the dual-channel model. The regular Classic 350 is available at a price tag of Rs 1.54 lakh (ex-showroom, Chennai). The new motorcycle is only available in Tamil Nadu and Kerala. It is yet to be confirmed whether the new iteration will be offered to other states or not. Also See – New RE 250cc Motorcycle in the works

The Classic 350 S is available in 2 colour options – Pure Black and Mercury Silver. In order to reduce price, the new bike gets blacked-out wheels and engine block instead of the chrome. It also comes with differently styled fuel tank logo with simple decal.

It is powered by the same 346cc, single-cylinder air-cooled engine that is capable of producing 19.8bhp of power and 28Nm of torque. Power is transmitted to the rear wheel via a 5-speed gearbox. Royal Enfield has already started working on the next-generation Classic range, which has been spotted testing multiple times. The new model will arrive early next year with BSVI compliant engines.
