In September 2018, Royal Enfield introduced the new Classic 350 Gun Metal Grey variant to the model lineup. Now, the Chennai-based bikemaker has made the ABS (Anti-lock Braking System) standard across the Classic 350 range including the Gun Metal Grey variant. The Royal Enfield Classic 350 Gun Metal Grey ABS version is made available at Rs 1.80 lakh (on-road).
Royal Enfield might soon add more colours to the Classic 350 model lineup. Similar to the Signals Edition, the Royal Enfield Classic 350 Gun Metal Grey ABS variant comes fitted with a dual-channel ABS unit. The company will update its entire product lineup with ABS feature before the new safety norms will be enforced across the nation (i.e. 1st April, 2019). The updated Royal Enfield Classic 350 Gun Metal Grey uses the dual-channel ABS along with a 280mm front disc dual-piston front calipers and a 240mm rear disc with single piston caliper brakes. No other changes have been made to the bike. Read – Royal Enfield Continental GT 650 Is Set To Launch
The Royal Enfield Classic 350 Gun Metal Grey ABS is propelled by the same 346cc single-cylinder, air-cooled engine tuned pushing out a peak power of 19.8bhp and a maximum torque output of 28Nm. For transmission purpose, it has the same a 5-speed gearbox. The telescopic forks and twin shock absorbers units, fitted at the front and rear axles respectively, perform the suspension duties.
