The new RE Trials 350 and Trials 350 are launched to pay homage to RE’s Trials bikes of yesteryear.
Royal Enfield has launched 2 new variants of its popular Bullet motorcycle in India. Called the Bullet Trials, the new motorcycles has been launched to pay homage to RE’s Trials bikes of yesteryear. While the Bullet Trials 350 is priced at Rs 1.62 lakh, the Bullet Trials 500 costs Rs 2.07 lakh (ex-showroom India).
Royal Enfield said that the journey of the RE Bullet is “the most enduring tale in motorcycling”. The new Trials 350 and 500 are equipped with the same engine and gearbox options that also available in the standard Bullets. The Trials 350 is powered by the 346cc engine that produces 20bhp and 28Nm. On the other hand, the Bullet Trials 500 uses the 499cc powertrain that is good for 27.5bhp and 41.3Nm of torque. Both engines are paired to the 5-speed gearbox.
Not just powertrains, the new Bullet Trials shares the fuel tank and side panels from the standard motorcycles. Keeping off-road in mind, RE has modified the front and rear fenders of the motorcycles. The front and rear fenders are now shorter and narrower. The new models also feature taller handlebar with a cross-brace, which resembles the one offered in the enduro motorcycles.
While the Trial 350 features a red frame, the Trials 500 uses a green frame. Dual discs and dual channel ABS are available as standard. The new motorcycles ride on 19-inch front and 18-inch rear wheel, which are wrapped with CEAT tyres. Other design highlights include upswept exhaust muffler, headlight grille and crossbar padding.
