Ritesh Deshmukh celebrated his 40th birthday on December 17, 2018. His wife, the Bollywood actress Genelia D’Souza surprised him with a very pleasant gift – Tesla Model X. With this birthday gift, Ritesh has become one of the first proud owners of the swanky Tesla Model X electric SUV in India.
The actor shared a couple of pictures with the new Tesla Model X on social media to express his joy and excitement. Just so you know, India received its first Tesla Model X SUV a few days back. The shipped model of the electric SUV was spotted in Mumbai. The Model X is the company’s flagship SUV priced between $73,800 to $128,300. Now, we don’t know the price of the Model X Ritesh has received, but it will surely come by paying heavy import duties.
The Model X is a pure seven seater (optional) electric SUV. While the performance version of the car offers power worth 259bhp and 503bhp on both the front and rear motors, the entry-level variant delivers 259bhp at the front and rear. The Model X P100D trim accelerates 0-100kmh in 2.9 seconds with a top speed of 250kmph. It has a driving range of 474km. Some of the key features of the SUV include autonomous Tesla Autopilot driver assist feature, electric all-wheel drive, automatic emergency braking, air suspension with GPS, stability control, Bluetooth wireless technology, parking sensors, LED headlamps with corner lights and stylish falcon doors.
