Revolt Intellicorp has unveiled India’s first AI (Artificial Intelligence) enabled and connected motorcycle – Revolt RV400. Official bookings for the electric bike will be commenced from 25th June and the launch will happen in a month from now. Expected to be priced around Rs 1 lakh (ex-showroom), the electric bike will take on the Ather 450 and the upcoming Tork T6X.

The Revolt RV400 comes with a pack of connectivity features including remote diagnostics, geo-fencing, cloud connectivity and OTA (over-the-air) updates.  The company claims that the Revolt RV400 electric bike offers performance similar to the regular 125cc bikes. The motorcycle makes use of swappable lithium-ion batteries and an electric motor for generating power. The battery management system and ECU (electronic control unit) have been designed in-house, while its battery and electric motor are imported.

It can offer a maximum speed of 85kmph. The electric bike also comes with the Revolt mobile app, powered by telematics data collected from the 4G enabled IOT device, that provides the rider a view of the motorcycle.

Features such as real time bike information, bike location with map guide, ordering battery for delivery at user location, finding the nearest swap station, swap order history, bike start/stop via Bluetooth, user trips and details, sound preview, change motorcycle sound and volume, bike diagnostic and statistics further enhance the users’ riding experience.

Revolt Motors will provide four different charging options – on-board charging, portable charging, delivery on demand option and mobile swap station. The company will have mobile battery swapping stations across cities in which they operate. The AI-enabled Revolt RV400 motorcycle will be made available in two colour options – Cosmic Black and Rebel Red.
