Report- New 2014 Maruti Swift facelift India launch in November

New 2014 Maruti Swift and Swift Dzire Facelift Coming in 2014

We reported earlier that Maruti Suzuki will launch the Swift and Swift Dzire facelift in the Indian car market by festive season. According to the Zigwheels, the company is planning to launch the refreshed Swift hatchback in the country in November 2014. The upcoming Swift will be a mid-life refreshed instead of an all-new model. It is expected that 2014 Maruti Swift will come in both automatic petrol and automatic diesel version.

The Swift facelift will carries over the current body shape and share great resemblance to its predecessor. It comes equipped with new L-shaped LEDs, redesigned bumper with silver detailing and fog lamps, restyled grille and headlamp package. The top-end variant will be offered with a new pair of 16-inches alloy wheels, while the base variant will get new steel wheels with new wheel covers. A new Boost Blue metallic exterior paint will also make its way to the Swift facelift.

Inside the cabin, the Swift facelft will get new fabric seat upholstery, start & stop button, power adjustable ORVMs, front passenger’s window with auto-up touch function and others. The top-end model is likely to get automatic air conditioning and a new infotainment system comprises of an audio system with Bluetooth, Aux-in and iPod connectivity.

Under the bonnet, the Maruti Swift facelift will get the same 1.3-litre Multi-jet engine and a 1.2-litre K12 engine. While the diesel engine is capable of producing 75PS of power, the gasoline motor develops 85PS of power. If media reports are to be believed, the company might also offer a more powerful 90PS version of the multi-jet engine that also powers the Ertiga and SX4.
