Dacia Bigster Duster

Dacia plans to launch 3 new models by 2025, and the Bister will be the first to go on sale. The Dacia Bigster will sit above the Duster in the brand’s line-up as the flagship model. It is reportedly to be offered with both ‘alternative energy’ and hybrid powertrains. In terms of pricing, The new Dacia Bigster is reportedly to be positioned against the likes of the Skoda Karoq and the Volkswagen Tiguan. However, the size of the SUV will make it an indirect rival to bigger SUVs like the Skoda Kodiaq.

The Dacia Bigster is based on the CMF-B platform, which is shared between Renault, Nissan and Mitsubishi. The SUV measures 4.6 meters in length, which will make it the largest Dacia model yet. The company claims that the new Bigster will be a good value for money product, and will have a price tag closer to that of smaller SUVs.

In a statement, Dacia said, “the Bigster is the Dacia way of making the C-segment accessible, delivering a larger, more capable vehicle at the cost buyers would expect from the segment below.”
