Renault Triber To Launch In August; Bookings To Open From Next Week

Renault Triber is rumoured to be priced between 4.4 lakh – Rs 5.8 lakh (ex-showroom).

Renault Triber, the 7-seater subcompact MPV from the French carmaker, had its global debut last month. While the official launch and booking details of the vehicle are yet to be announced, a fresh media report claims that it will go on sale in August, 2019. Pre-bookings will be commenced from next week. Prices of Renault’s new mini MPV are rumoured to start from 4.4 lakh and go up to Rs 5.8 lakh (ex-showroom). The third row of seats will be cost an additional Rs 3,000.

Based on the slightly modified CMF-A platform, the Renault Triber will be powered by a 1.0L, 3-cylinder petrol engine with a 5-speed manual and a 5-speed AMT gearbox options. The gasoline motor will deliver a maximum power of 71bhp and 96Nm of torque.

Prior to the official launch, the MPV’s dimensions and colour options have been leaked online. The Renault Triber measures 3990mm in length, 1739mm in width and 1643mm in height with a wheelbase of 2636mm. Its ground clearance stands at 182mm. The 7-seater MPV will come in 5 colour schemes – Orange, Ice Cool White, Electric Blue, Moonlight Silver and Fiery Red.

The upcoming Renault mini MPV comes with segment-first flexible third row seats with unlatching operations. Some of its key features include a 20cm touchscreen infotainment system with smartphone connectivity, AC vents for each row passengers, 12V charging sockets, a cooled glove box, etc.
