Renault Triber Rumoured To Be Priced At Rs 4.4 lakh
Renault Triber could be priced between Rs 4.4 lakh and Rs 5.8 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi)
Renault will launch the much-awaited Triber crossover-MPV in India in July 2019. A new media report claims that the Renault Triber could be priced as low as Rs 4.4 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi) for the base model and Rs 5.8 lakh for the top-end variant. Adding to it, customers can also opt for the third row of seats by paying an additional Rs 3,000. With this uniquely styled UV, Renault aims to target young and first time car buyers.
The Renault Triber will only be offered in the single petrol engine option. It will be powered by the Kwid’s 1.0-litre 3-cylinder engine that is tuned to produce around 72bhp of maximum power and 96Nm of torque. Transmission options will include a 5-speed manual and a 5-speed AMT. This front-wheel-drive MPV is based on the modified Renault Kwid’s CMF-A platform and will be compatible with the upcoming crash test norms. The company also plans to export the new Triber to select International markets.

Measuring under 4 meter, the Renault Triber is 3,990mm long, 1,739mm wide and 1,643mm tall. The MPV has a wheelbase of 2,636mm, while the ground clearance stands at 182mm. The crossover-MPV weighs 947kgs. The MPV comes with shoulder space of 1356mm, 1330mm and 1261mm for the first, second and third row passengers respectively. The MPV will be offered with 2 wheel sizes – 14-inch wheels with 165/80 section tyres and 15-inch alloys with 185/65 section tyres. With 5 seats in position, the Renault Triber MPV offers a boot space of 620-litres.
