Renault India has introduced a special edition of its popular hatchback – Kwid. Called the Renault Kwid Live For More Reloaded 2018 Edition, this new model has been made available in three variants – 0.8L MT, 1.0L MT and 1.0L AMT – priced at Rs 2.66 lakh, Rs 3.57 lakh and Rs 3.87 lakh respectively. One must note that the aforementioned prices are ex-showroom, Delhi.
The carmaker is offering 10 new features on the Renault Kwid Live For More Reloaded 2018 Edition that enhance its visual feel and appeal. Interestingly, the prices of the special edition are same as the respective standard variants.
On the exterior, the Kwid’s special edition features checkered pattern Speedster graphics running along the bonnet, shoulder line, sides and roof. The contrast colour combination of Black, Dark Grey with Lime Yellow accents For Light Body Colour and Black, Silver with Lime Yellow accents for Dark Body Colour add more to its sporty appearance. You can also notice the ‘Live For More’ badge on the door. Renault offers two graphic options with the special edition – Sportz and Rallycross. Feature-wise, the Renault Kwid Live For More Reloaded 2018 Edition is more loaded than the standard model. Major update comes in the form of the reverse parking sensor. It also gets a touchscreen MediaNav infotainment system, a digital instrument cluster, radio speed-dependent volume control and one-touch lane change indicator. Mechanically, the car remains unchanged. The Renault Kwid Live For More Reloaded 2018 Edition is available with two petrol engines – 0.8L and 1.0L Smart Control efficiency (SCe). While the former delivers power worth 53bhp against 72Nm of torque, the latter one makes 67bhp with 91Nm of torque. The smaller capacity unit comes with a 5-speed manual gearbox, and the more powerful 1000cc version is available with a 5-speed manual and a 5-speed AMT unit.
