Renault India has increased the prices of its newly launched Kiger compact SUV. Launched in early 2021, the Renault Kiger prices has been increased by up to Rs 33,000. The new prices are applicable from 1st May, 2021. Prices of the base variants – RXE MT and RXE MT Dual-Tone remain the same.

The Renault Kiger is available with 1.0L petrol engine in naturally-aspirated and turbo-versions, and in total of 4 trim levels – RXE, RXL, RXT and RXZ. The RXT Turbo CVT and RXZ Turbo CVT prices are also remain unchanged. However, all other variants prices have been increased from Rs 3,000 to Rs 33,000. The Renault Kiger is now available in the price bracket of Rs 5.45 Lakh to Rs 9.75 Lakh (ex-showroom).

The Kiger RXL, RXT and RXZ naturally-aspirated manual version prices have been increased by Rs 18,000, Rs 20,000 and Rs 14,000 respectively. The AMT gearbox is offered on the RXL, RXT and RXZ trim levels with 1.0L NA engine. The RXL AMT price has been increased by Rs 23,000, while the prices of the RXT AMT and RXZ AMT have been raised by Rs 25,000 and Rs 19,000 respectively.
The Renault Kiger Turbo variants – RXL, RXT, and RXZ – prices have also been increased. The RXL variant price is increased by Rs 28,000, while the RXT and RXZ MT prices have been hikes by Rs 30,000 and Rs 24,000 respectively. Prices of the turbo CVT remains the same. All the variants are available with a dual-tone paint scheme, which now demand Rs 30,000 more than its mono-tone versions.
Based on the CMFA+ platform, the Kiger is available with two engine options – a 72bhp, 1.0L naturally aspirated petrol and a 100bhp, 1.0L turbocharged petrol. The NA aspirated engine is available with 5-speed manual and an AMT gearbox options. On the other hand, the turbo version is available with 5MT & CVT automatic gearbox options. The higher trims of the turbo-petrol engine also come with drive modes – Normal, Eco and Sports. The turbo-petrol manual mileage is rated at 20kmpl.
