Renault Captur Exterior Design

The new Renault SUV has been designed and developed on company’s global design tenet and the styling is done to give it a contemporary and chic look with dynamic lines and “distinctive design details”. Renault claims that this premium SUV combines a bold, assertive presence with expressive styling. The India-spec model borrows most of the styling bits with its Russian sibling, albeit Renault has introduced new bits in the design to make it more appealing.  With the addition of new elements and other styling bits, the India-spec version looks slightly different from its Russia-spec model. Face of the car has bold and assertive appeal, thanks to its large chromed grille flanked by Pure Vision full LED headlamps.

Wide air-dams on the large bumper in front, a skid-plate and chromed fog-lamp housings with daytime running lamps add more to its premium looks. The side profile of the crossover looks more like a MPV, though the sloping roofline and blacked-out treatment to C-pillar adds a sporty look. The car has pronounced wheel arches fitted with 17-inch alloy wheels. A sharp shoulder runs across the length on the crossover and merges into the tail. Other design bits include a strong beltline, roof-rails and outside rear view mirrors with integrated blinkers. The crossover has been styled aggressively from rear with LED taillights and approach & departure angles of 20 and 31 degrees respectively. It additionally comes with an option of a dual-tone colour theme and Renault offers some bespoke options on the model. Read – Renault Kwid Climber Price, Pics & Details
