Renault India has silently updated the interiors of its flagship hatchback, Pulse. Based on the Nissan Micra platform, the Pulse failed to generate volumes for the company in India. In a bid to add some spice to this dated hatchback, the company has revamped the interiors. The interiors of the 2014 Pulse now looks quite similar to that of facelifted Micra launched in 2013.
The exteriors of the 2014 Renault Pulse remains unchanged. However, the interiors of the hatchback now gets an integrated 2-DIN audio system with Bluetooth, USB and a piano black finish to the centre console. The AC vents are now in rectangular shape, while the dashboard gets restyled centre console and instrumentation. It is loaded with features include automatic climate control, tilt adjustable steering, start/stop button and few others.
Under the hood, the updated Pulse gets the same engine options. While the petrol version is propelled by the 1.2-litre engine that produces 76PS and 104Nm of torque, the oil burner has 1.5-litre dCi motor that develops 64PS and 160Nm of torque. Both the engines are paired with a five-speed manual transmission gearbox.
