The Bajirao actor who turned 32 yesterday gifted himself a brand-new Aston Martin Rapide S. Painted in matte white, the actor took his co-star and alleged girlfriend Deepaka Padukone for a spin in his new luxury car. While the Rapide S is essentially a sports car, deriving power from the robust V12 engine, it gets the additional seat at the rear. Reports are rife that Ranveer spent a hefty Rs 3.8 crore for his new car.
Finished in a soothing Status White Shade, the interior of the Rapide S is wrapped in Sagara Tan leather. Power on this beast comes from the massive 6-litre, V12 engine that puts out towering power of 552bhp at 6000rpm with peak torque of 630Nm at 5000rpm. This monstrous engine is paired to the ZF sourced 8-speed automatic gearbox. With these power output, the beastly sportscar propels to 100kmph from rest in just 4.2 seconds, while attaining top speed of 327kmph. The suspension mechanism on the iconic model includes an independent double wishbone at front and Adaptive Damping System at rear. While the safety brigade comprises 3-stage Dynamic Stability Control (DSC), dual cast disc brakes, torque control, ABS with EBD and Brake Assist to name a few.
While Ranveer just added another luxury model to his fleet of cars, the actor has an envious collection of cars which includes Mercedes Benz 350d, Mercedes Benz G-Class, Jaguar XJL, Land Rover Range Vogue and Audi Q5.
