Over 55,000 New Hyundai Creta Booked So Far

Hyundai Motor India has confirmed that the second-generation Creta has garnered over 55,000 bookings so far. Interestingly, the diesel model contributes 60% of the total bookings. The compact SUV recorded its highest sales in the month of May and June, 2020 and claimed top spot in the segment. The carmaker has also revealed that over 30% customers’ enquiries for the new Creta came via its ‘Click to Buy’ platform.

The 2020 Hyundai Creta has been favoured for its unique features including voice enabled smart panoramic sunroof, 8 speakers Bose sound system, traction control modes, drive mode select, paddle shifters, auto healthy air purifier with digital display and ventilated seats. Furthermore, the company is offering Wonder Warranty options – 3 Years/unlimited kms or 4 years/60 000 kms or 5 years/50 000 kms.

The new-generation Hyundai Creta has been made available at a starting price of Rs 9.99 lakh (for the entry-level EX 1.5L petrol variant). The top-end SX (O) 1.4L turbo-petrol variant comes with a price tag of Rs 17.20 lakh. All prices are ex-showroom, Delhi. The compact SUV model lineup is available in five trims (E, EX, S, SX and SX (O)) and five engine-gearbox combinations. Buyers have three powertrains to choose from including a 115hp, 1.5L, naturally-aspirated petrol, a 115bhp, 1.5L turbo diesel and a 1.4L turbo petrol. The 1.5L NA petrol unit comes with 6-speed manual and CVT automatic gearbox options. The turbo-diesel can be had either with a 6-speed manual or a torque converter automatic gearbox. The turbo petrol motor comes paired to a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox. The 2020 Hyundai Creta is being offered in 10 paint schemes. One must note that the turbo-petrol model is exclusively offered in three exclusive shades, namely, Orange with Black roof, White with Black roof and Deep Forest.
