Launched In September last year, the Maruti S-Presso mini SUV has been doing really well for the carmaker. Speaking to an online media publication, Shashank Srivastava, Executive Director (Marketing and Sales), Maruti Suzuki India Limited, has confirmed that the company has sold over 50,000 units of the S-Presso so far. Interestingly, the two top-end variants VXi and VXi+ have been gathering 97% of the total bookings. 48% of its demand comes from the Tier II and Tier III cities.

The Starry Blue and Sizzle Orange colour schemes are quite popular among buyers. Within 10 days of its arrival, the mini SUV registered sales over 10,000 units and marked its entry in the list of top 10 best-selling cars. Attributes such as SUVish design, well-equipped interior, efficient powertrain and affordable pricing have been working in its favour.
