Ola Electric had opened the third phase of bookings for the Ola S1 Pro Electric scooter on March 17-20. With new bookings window, Ola also introduced a new ‘Gerua’ colour on the occasion of Holi.
The Ola S1 Pro price will be increased when the automaker opens their next purchase window. The scooter is currently available at a price tag of Rs 1.30 lakh (ex-showroom). Bhavish Agarwal, CEO, Ola Electric has confirmed via a tweet that the prices of the Ola S1 Pro will be increased when the next purchase window opens. It is expected that the new price of the Ola S1 Pro could be announced in April 2022.
The dispatch of the new orders of Ola S1 Pro from the Ola Futurefactory will start from April 2022 onwards and be delivered to customer’s doorsteps. The Ola S1 Pro is powered by a 3.97 kWh battery pack offering a maximum range of 181km. It powers an electric motor that pushes out 11bhp and 58Nm. The e-scooter accelerates to 60kmph from zero in just 5 seconds. It is claimed to have a top speed of 115kmph.
The Ola S1 features 2.96kWh battery pack offering a range of 121km on full charge. Both variants feature a ‘Hyperdrive motor’ generating a maximum power of 8.5kW. The Ola S1 claims to have a top speed of 90kmph. The S1 comes with two riding modes – Normal and Sports, and the S1 Pro gets an additional Hyper mode. The battery pack of the S1 and S1 Pro electric scooters can be charged fully via a portable home charger in 4.48 hours and 6.30 hours respectively.
