Ola Electric has officially announced that the next purchase window for the new Ola S1 Pro will open on Holi. Ola has also introduced an exclusive special edition colour ‘Gerua’. The new special colour Ola S1 Pro will only be available for the two days of Holi on March 17th and 18th.
All customers who have reservations will be eligible for an exclusive early access to purchase on 17th.The other customers will be able to buy on 18th of March. The Gerua colour can only be purchased on 17th & 18th and will not be available later. All other 10 colours of the S1 Pro will also be available from 17th March 2022.
Ola has also said that the entirely digital payment process will be through the Ola app only. The dispatch of these new orders of Ola S1 Pro from the Ola Futurefactory will start from April 2022 onwards and be delivered to customers’ doorsteps.
The engine options of the new Ola e-Scooter includes 2.96kWh (S1) and 3.97kWh (S1 Pro) battery pack offering a range of 121km and 181kms respectively on a full charge. Both variants feature a ‘Hyperdrive motor’ generating a maximum power of 8.5kW. While the Ola S1 delivers a top speed of 90kmph, the Ola S1 Pro offers a top speed of 115kmph.
Both variants provide a maximum torque of 58Nm. The S1 comes with two riding modes – Normal and Sports, and the S1 Pro gets an additional Hyper mode. The battery pack of the S1 and S1 Pro electric scooters can be charged fully via a portable home charger in 4.48 hours and 6.30 hours respectively.
