Ola Electric Scooter Top Speed More Than 100kmph: More Details

It is no secret that Ola electric scooter will bring huge change in the way two-wheeler industry in India works. This electric scooter has already received over 1 lakh bookings. The upcoming EV will come with several segment-first features. The company has already hinted that the electric scooter will have a range of around 150km on a single charge, which is currently best in India.

Now, Ola has hinted about the top speed of the upcoming Ola electric scooter. Like many polls about different aspects of the scooter, Bhavish Aggarwal recently did a poll on twitter in which he is asking the people what top speed they want the electric scooter to offer. The four options in the poll include – 80kmph, 90kmph and <100kmph, and Don’t care, just want it!.

In the previous poll, Bhavish asked about the colour options of the Ola electric scooter. The poll had 9 colours and an additional white colour scooter. The company has officially announced that the scooter will be offered in 10 colours. Similarly, it is expected that the Ola electric scooter will come in multiple variants with different top speeds and range. The poll result shows that the <100kmph option received highest number of votes. It is expected that the scooter will most likely to offer a top speed of over 100kmph.

The new Ola electric scooter is most likely to be the fastest in its segment. Currently, the Ather 450X is the fastest electric scooter in our country with a top speed of 90kmph. The company has already confirmed that the e-scooter will accelerate to 45kmph from zero in just 3.9 seconds. The scooter will offer the largest underseat storage space in its category. It will be spacious enough to accommodate two big helmets.

The new Ola scooter will come with the digital instrument console, cloud connectivity, smartphone connectivity, lithium-ion battery pack, telescopic suspension upfront and alloy wheels. Ola has also trademarked three names – S, S1 and S1 Pro, which are expected to be the different variants of the scooter.  The electric scooter will be manufactured at Ola’s new production facility in Tamil Nadu. Spread over 500 acres, the plant will initially produce 20 lakh units on annual basis.
