Ola electric had launched the S1 electric scooter in the country in the later 2021. The electric scooter has been receiving an overwhelming response from buyers, as it is currently the best-selling model in its category. The company has recently launched the S1 standard in August and the S1 Air during the festive season. Ola Electric CEO Bhavish Aggarwal has confirmed that Ola Electric bike is under development for the Indian market.
Bhavish Aggarwal has recently conducted a poll on social media asking people ‘which bike style do you like’. The poll has options of Sports, Cruiser, Adventure and Cafe Racer, which suggests that the new bike will aim young enthusiasts.
Ola is likely to share more details about the new products in the country in 2023. Ola is currently offering the S1 e-scooter in 3 trims. The company aims to further improve its sales by improving the production capacity and maintain the aggressive pricing strategy.
Not just electric motorcycle, Ola is also developing an electric car for the Indian market. In fact, Ola has already teased different versions of the electric vehicle that is likely to be in 2023. The company has also announced to export the e-scooters to Nepal this year, and Europe and Latin America in 2023.
