Nissan India has introduced a special edition of its premium sedan – Sunny – at Rs 8.48 lakh (ex-showroom). The new Nissan Sunny Special Edition receives sporty black treatment along with over 50 new features. One of the major highlight of the new Nissan Sunny Special Edition is the “More Advanced and Intelligent NissanConnect”, an integrated connected car technology. Nissan also equips the Special Edition with several safety and car security features such as geo-fencing, speed alert, curfew alert, nearby pit-stops, Locate My Car and Share My Car Location, keyless entry, push-stop-start via intelligent Key and ‘Lead Me to Car’. No changes have been made under the hood. The new Nissan Sunny Special Edition uses the 1.5-litre diesel and petrol engines. The oil burner produces 84.8bhp with 200Nm of torque, and the gasoline motor delivers 97.6bhp with 134Nm of torque.
