Nissan Magnite Will Be Brand’s Smallest & Most Affordable SUV

Nissan Magnite, the upcoming subcompact SUV from the Japanese carmaker, is ready to make its world debut on coming 16th July. Ahead of its official unveiling, the company has released a few teaser pictures and recently we have seen a camouflaged prototype of the model. As of now, we have limited exterior and interior details. Though, a latest digital rendering previews its possible design.

The rendered model features a hexagonal grille with chrome surrounds resembling to the Datsun models. The LED headlamps with boomerang-shaped LED DRLs, a wide black bumper and pronounced bumper further enhance its aggressive front appeal. While the rendered Magnite has large size alloy wheels, the production version is likely to be offered with 16-inch diamond cut alloy wheels.

At the back, the Nissan Magnite is likely to feature LED taillamps and a raked windscreen. The rendered model looks quite compact with upright stance. Interior and engine details are yet to be revealed. Reports suggest that the carmaker will equip the Magnite with features such as Nissan Connect connected car technology, a 360 degree surround view camera, automatic AC unit and factory-fitted sunroof. Both motors are likely to be offered with a 5-speed manual and a 5-speed AMT gearbox option. While the naturally-aspirated unit will be good enough for 72PS and 96Nm, the turbo-petrol motor will deliver 100PS and 160Nm of torque.
