Nissan Kicks SUV Launched; Prices Start From Rs 9.55 lakh

The Nissan Kicks SUV is available in four trims – XL, XV, XV Premium and XV Premium+.

Nissan Kicks, the premium 5-seater SUV from the Japanese carmaker, has finally arrived in the Indian market. While the petrol variants have been priced from Rs 9.55 lakh to Rs 10.95 lakh, the diesel trims range from Rs 10.85 lakh to Rs 14.65 lakh. All prices are ex-showroom, Delhi. The SUV comes in four trim levels – XL, XV, XV Premium and XV Premium+ – and two engine options with manual transmissions. Interestingly, Nissan is offering a 3 year warranty, roadside assistance and maintenance package at no extra cost.

The petrol version of the Nissan Kicks gets a 1.5L engine generating power worth 106bhp against 142Nm of torque. The diesel variant, on the other hand, comes with a 1.5L motor that’s good for 110bhp and 240Nm of torque. Nissan claims that the Kicks petrol returns a mileage of 14.23kmpl and the diesel promises fuel economy of 20.45kmpl. Compared to the lower diesel variants, the higher trims (XV Premium and XV Premium+) are slightly less frugal delivering fuel efficiency of 19.39kmpl. Buyers have multiple colour options to choose from. The dual-tone shades – Grey and Orange, White and Orange, Red and Black and White and Black – are offered only on the range-topping XV Premium+  trim. Based on Renault-Nissan Alliance’s B0 platform, the Nissan Kicks comes with lots of bells and whistles. The SUV offers segment-first 360 degree camera with rear parking camera along with a floating touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity. The list of features also includes LED signature headlamps, power adjustable wing mirrors with turn indicators, height adjustable driver’s seat, automatic climate control, audio system with Bluetooth connectivity and rear AC vents.
