Nissan Kicks Gets A New XE Base Variant; Priced At Rs 9.89 Lakh

Early this year, Nissan India introduced its all-new Kicks compact SUV at a starting price of 9.55 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). The SUV lineup was spread across four trims – XL, XV, XV Premium and XV Premium+ – with petrol and diesel engine options. Now, the Japanese carmaker has added a new, more affordable XE diesel trim to the Nissan Kicks model lineup.

Priced at Rs 9.89 lakh, the Nissan Kicks XE is around Rs 1.2 lakh less expensive than the previous entry-level XL diesel trim. Additionally, the carmaker has updated feature list of the XL and XV diesel variants along with increasing their prices by around Rs 24,000 and Rs 2,000 respectively. Now, the Nissan Kicks XL and XV diesel variants are available at Rs 11.09 lakh and Rs 12.51 lakh respectively.

Nissan Kicks SUV Launch

The range-topping XV Pre Option diesel variant has been scrapped from the SUV model lineup. Now, the Nissan Kicks XV Pre diesel trim is the top-end model offering all the features of the previous top-spec version at a cost of Rs 13.69 lakh. All prices are ex-showroom, Delhi. Talking about the Nissan Kicks XE, the new base trim gets all the comfort goodies and safety features that were previously offered on the XL trim. All variants of the compact SUV now get Nissan Connect technology as a standard feature. Read – All-New Nissan Livina MPV Unveiled

The Kicks XL receives front fog lamps, 17-inch alloy wheels instead of 16-inch steel wheels, roof rails, an 8.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay support, steering-mounted audio controls, an Eco driving mode and Vehicle Dynamic Control. The Nissan Kicks XV is now available with features such as LED projector headlamps, power folding and adjustable wing mirrors, two tweeters, hill-start assist, cruise control and keyless entry and go.
