Nissan Kicks Compact SUV Unveiled For The Indian Market

Nissan Kicks is a 5-seater SUV that comes loaded with several comfort goodies.

Nissan Kicks premium compact SUV has finally been unveiled for the Indian market. The Japanese carmaker has confirmed that the SUV will go on sale early next year (possibly in January, 2019). Compared to the global model, the India-spec Kicks is longer and bigger and has been built on the B0 platform borrowed from the Renault Duster and the Captur. Nissan’s new compact SUV has developed at the new Nissan Design Centre in Chennai.

In India, the Nissan Kicks SUV will be made available with both petrol and diesel powertrains, which are likely to be borrowed from the Terrano. That means, the diesel variants will derive power from a 1.5L K9K unit generating power worth 83.14bhp at 3750Nm against 200Nm of torque at 1900rpm. The petrol models comes with a 1.6L K4M motor pushing out a maximum power of 103bhp at 5850rpm and 148Nm of torque at 3750rpm.  Read – Nissan Kicks Vs Hyundai Creta

Nissan Kicks is a 5-seater SUV that will be loaded with several comfort and connectivity features. It might get an 8.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system compatible to Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Nissan Kicks India SUV
