Nissan Terrano to be unveiled on August 20; launch by October

Few days back, Nissa India released the official sketches of the much awaited compact SUV Terrano, and has now officially announced to unveil the vehicle in Mumbai on August 20. Nissan Terrano compact SUV will be the last cross-badged vehicle from Renault-Nissan Alliance. The vehicle is based on hugely successful Renault Duster compact SUV; however, Nissan managed to make it look different and refreshed than the later.

The rear side of Nissan Terrano sports some sheet metal changes, a split rear lightning arrangement, and some of the parts of the rear lights have been placed on the bootlid. But the front fascia of the Nissan Terrano has received the most visible updates. The vehicle house a revamped bumper, honeycomb design, newly formulated headlamps and a big Nissan logo, which makes it look more attractive and aggressive. More interestingly, the front fascia of the Nissan Terrano resembles the company’s flagship SUV X-Trail.

Nissan Terrano is expected to receive the same engine options available in Renault Duster, however it is also expected that the interiors of the compact SUV could load more features. The vehicle is expected to costs around Rs. 50,000 to 70,000 more than the Duster. The exact launching date of the Nissan Terrano is still under covers, but we expect it to be launched by festive season (Diwali, Dushera).
