New Hyundai Santro Launching Within 4 Months – New Details Emerge

Hyundai’s new ‘Brilliant Moments’ campaign will last for four months and will end up with the launch of Hyundai’s new small family car – Santro

Hyundai has recently announced to launch 8 new cars by 2020 out of which, the next-gen Santro, codenamed AH2, will be the brand’s first model in India. The small car will be launched this year. A latest media report claims that the new model will be launched within 4 months, during festive season Diwali.

The company has recently introduced new ‘Brilliant Moments’ campaign to celebrate 20 years in the Indian markets. The report suggests that this campaign will last for four months and will end up with the launch of Hyundai’s new small family car – Codenamed AH2 during the festival season. The next-generation Santro will be the brand’s most affordable car in Indian market, which means Hyundai Eon will be discontinued in near future. The new AH2 family car with better structural integrity and safety features would take the slot for entry-level Hyundai in India.

The next Santro will be developed on the same platform that also underpins the discontinued i10 model. Like the previous model, the new small car will have a tall-boy design and will have the practicality of the popular Santro. Going by the spy images, it is visible that the cabin will share components with the Grand i10. 2018 Hyundai Creta Review

The upcoming Hyundai Santro small hatch will be powered by a 1.1-litre 4-cylinder petrol engine that produces 68bhp and 100Nm of torque. It will also be the brand’s first model to feature an AMT gearbox.
