Tata Motors will launch its highly anticipated sub four-meter SUV, Nexon in an event in Mumbai on September 21, 2017. The official bookings will start from September 11, 2017 across Tata dealerships for a sum of Rs 11,000. In terms of design, the SUV features a host of elements such as projector headlamps, LED daytime running lights, ceramic finish all around the SUV etc. Rear features an integrated spoiler, dual tone colour scheme and roof rails. On the inside, it gets an array of comfort and infotainment tech. The three-tone dashboard, central console with tambour door mechanism, automatic climate control, voice command, reverse parking camera with sensors and air vents in second row are some of the prominent features on the inside. A Harman sourced infotainment system with a 6.5-inch touchscreen sits inside. Additionally, it gets 8 speakers and smartphone connectivity features such as Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. On the safety front, it gets dual front airbags, anti-lock-braking system, corner stability control, brake assist, adjustable headrests at front and rear and ISOFIX mounts.

The Nexon carline will be available with all-new 1.2-litre, turbocharged Revotron petrol and 1.5-litre oil burner. The petrol engine with maximum power of 108bhp makes top torque of 170Nm, whereas the diesel unit with 108bhp of power make 260Nm of torque. Both the engines will be paired to a standard 6-speed manual gearbox and a 6-speed AMT unit will be introduced early next year. It will additionally receive a drive mode with Eco, City and Sport options.
