Tata will offer two new features on the Nexon AMT – a Smart Hill Assist and a creep function.

Painted in the new Etna Orange shade, the Tata Nexon AMT (automated manual transmission) made its public debut at the Auto Expo 2018. The AMT version of the subcompact SUV was, previously, said to be launched early this year. However, its launch has now been postponed to mid May, 2018. As per sources, the SUV’s new 6-pseed AMT gearbox still needs to be tuned for achieving better performance.

The carmaker will offer two new features on the Nexon AMT – a Smart Hill Assist and a creep function. While the former helps on steep hills and makes driving easier in stop-and-go traffic, the latter one enables the car to crawl forward in slow moving traffic. Bookings for the vehicle have already been commenced at the dealership level. Read – Upcoming Tata Cars in India
