New Triumph Tiger XRx and XCx India launch date is March 12, 2015

Triumph Motorcycles India has recently showcased its new mid-size Tiger motorcycle range- the Tiger XCx and XRx at the 2015 India Bike Week in Goa. At the unveiling, the maker announced that the bike will be launched in March, this year. Now, the manufacturer has announced that the new Tiger range will be launched in the Indian bike market on March 12, 2015.

In International markets, the Triumph range comprises of new mid-size Tigers- XC and the XR, and two premium variants include the XCx and the XRx. The mid-size Tiger range is equipped with first in class cruise control. These bikes also have traction control and switchable ABS (Anti-Lock Braking System) as standard safety feature. The motorcycle rides by wire technology that helps smoother power delivery. Triumph claimed that the new Tiger range has WP suspension that offers improved off-road capabilities. Moreover, the bike features adjustable seat height which can be raised or decreased by 20mm.

The Triumph XCx rides on a 21-inch and 17-inch spoked wheel upfront and rear, respectively. The XRx will work as a comfortable touring machine. Both machines are powered by 800cc, 3-cylinder motor that churns out 94PS and 79Nm of torque. Triumph claims that the new Tigers are more 17 per cent more fuel efficient than the outgoing model.
