New Toyota Fortuner 2021 Aggressive Front Teased

The new Toyota Fortuner SUV is ready to hit Indian roads on coming 6th January. Ahead of its official price announcement, the carmaker has dropped the first teaser picture of the updated model revealing its aggressive LED projector headlamp clusters, LED DRLs (daytime running lights) and fog lamp assembly. The SUV will carry sharper character lines along with revised bumper with larger curtains, a larger grille and silver skid plate at the front end.

The SUV will also come with the newly-designed multi-spoke alloy wheels and new LED taillamps. This time around, the Fortuner model lineup will include a new sportier variant called Legender. Compared to the regular variants, the 2021 Toyota Fortuner Legender looks more aggressive with taller front bumper, a sleeker front grille and larger air dam surrounded by bigger curtains.

Interior layout will remain unchanged. Though, the SUV will receive a new 8.0-inch touchscreen system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity. The new Toyota Fortuner 2021 might also come with the wireless phone charger, 360-degree camera view, nine-speaker JBL audio system, electrically adjustable front seats, slightly updated instrument cluster, LED ambient lighting, Toyota’s safety sense, seven-airbags, lane departure warning, collision prevention system and radar-guided dynamic cruise control.

As far as engines are concerned, the 2021 Toyota Fortuner is likely to come with the same 2.8L, 4-cylinder turbo diesel and 2.7L, 4-cylinder petrol engine options. Speculations are on rife that the 2.8L turbo diesel motor might be updated for producing power worth 204bhp with 500Nm as we have seen on its global-spec version. The gasoline unit will continue to offer 166bhp with 245Nm of torque. Read – Maruti-Toyota JV Likely To Launch Tata Harrier Rival
