New Tata Harrier Special Edition Launching Soon – Teaser Out

Tata Motors has released a teaser of an upcoming new edition of the Harrier SUV. It reads “It awakens your inner explorer” and asks “can you guess this Harrier Edition”? While the carmaker hasn’t yet mentioned the name and details of the new Tata Harrier special edition, it’s expected to be an Adventure edition similar to the Safari Adventure Persona variant. Just so you know, the Harrier is currently available in four special editions – Camo, Dark, Kaziranga and Jet.

The new Tata Harrier special edition is likely to receive a few cosmetic enhancements over the regular model. It’s engine setup, however, will remain unchanged. It will continue to come with the 170bhp, 2.0L diesel engine. The carmaker might offer the SUV’s special edition in a new colour scheme. It’s expected to be based on the range-topping XZA+ variant that comes with some exclusive features including auto dimming IRVM, a panoramic sunroof, 6-way electrically adjustable driver’s seat and 17-inch diamond cut alloy wheels.

In other updates, the company is planning to introduce the Tata Harrier facelift in early 2023. The SUV’s updated model is likely to come with the ADAS (advanced driver assistance system) along with a 360 degree camera and a larger infotainment system supporting wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. A few changes will also be made to its exterior. The new Harrier facelift will come with an updated grille with horizonal slats and integrated radar, newly-designed LED headlamps with LED DLRs, new alloy wheels and revised rear bumper.
