The dealers have stopped taking bookings for the current-gen Swift, and busy clearing their existing stocks.

Bookings for the new-generation Maruti Suzuki Swift has commenced in India at dealership level. Many Maruti dealers across the country have begun taking pre-orders for the hatchback at an initial sum of Rs 11,000. One must note that the official bookings haven’t yet commenced. The new Swift is likely to arrive at showrooms towards the end of February or early March 2018.

While the official unveiling of the new Swift is scheduled for the third week of this month, its public debut will happen at the 2018 Auto Expo in February.  Just so you know, the company stopped production of the current generation Swift to make way for the new one.
