New Skoda Kodiaq L&K Launched In India At Rs 35.99 Lakh
Priced at Rs 35.99 lakh, the new Skoda Kodiaq L&K is available with a range of segment-first features
Czech automaker, Skoda has launched the new Kodiaq Laurin & Klement variant in the Indian car market. This new model is available at an introductory price of Rs 35.99 lakh (ex-showroom). It is available in 5 exterior paint jobs – Lava Blue, Quartz Grey, Moon White, Magic Black and the all-new Magnetic Brown.
In terms of design, the Skoda Kodiaq L&K is similar to the regular Kodiaq. However, it gets a chrome grille, LED headlights with illuminated “eyelashes” and 18-inch trinity alloy wheels. At the back, the SUV gets crystalline elements in familiar C-shaped LED tail-lights, chrome trim in the rear bumper borders and silver roof-rails. The Laurin & Klement badge can be seen on the front wings, while Kodiaq is embossed on aluminium door sill scuff plates. L&K logo is also offered on the stone beige leather upholstery and the infotainment system home screen.
The cabin is equipped with several high-end comfort and convenience features like 360 degree surround area view, with 4 wide-angle camera mounted on the front and the rear as well as the wing mirror covers, and hands-free parking. It also gets Virtual Cockpit, which is a customisable digital instrument panel. The SUV has 8-inch capacitive touchscreen that is compatible with Apple CarPlay, Android Auto and MirrorLink. The SUV also comes equipped with Skoda’s “Simply Clever Features” such as Door-Edge protection which deploys automatically when opening the car door, Power Nap Package for rear occupants – variable headrests and two blankets, digital voice enhancement that transmits the driver’s and front passenger’s voice to the rear occupants via a microphone in the cockpit, etc. The Skoda Kodiaq L&K offers a boot space of 270-litres, which can be extended up to 2,005-litres by folding down the rear seats.
Powering the Skoda Kodiaq Laurin & Klement is a 2.0-litre TDI diesel engine producing 148bhp of power and 340Nm of torque. Power is transmitted to all-4 wheels via an automatic gearbox. For passengers’ safety and security, the SUV gets 9 airbags, iBuzz Fatigue Alert, Adaptive front light system, ABS, ESC, EBD, Mechanical brake assist, Multi-collision brake, hydrualic brake assist, anti-slip regulation and electronic differential lock. Skoda is also offering 4 year service care program which consists of a 4 year warranty program and a 4 year road side assistance as standard.
